Suzanne Vega Pics and Short Review

Featuring a trimmed down Band of Suzanne, Bassist Mike Visceglia and
guitarist Gerry Leonard, the two, one hour sets were layered aural
masterpieces. What the band lacked in instruments they made up for with
dynamics. Suzanne seems to be more comfortable on stage through the years.
While she once was famous for her soft lilt, she now sings with a fuller,
richer voice and isn't afraid to jam and have fun with the music. Add to
the fact that the show was at the intimate Old town School of Folk Music
theater, and the night was an inspiration and joy to experience.
